Finding room to learn

Kara introduces herself as a mother in Pennsylvania with a busy household. After exploring a local real estate seminar, she continued researching through social media and came across Jake.

She describes listening to and watching lessons whenever she could fit them in, including listening in the car. Learning had to work around the responsibilities she already had.

Getting support for the questions

Kara says the member community answered questions without making her feel foolish for asking. Encouragement mattered because she was working on her confidence and did not always feel supported by people around her.

She also appreciated a teaching style that made her feel comfortable. Her account repeatedly returns to having people she could reach out to during an unfamiliar process.

A first contract, with work still ahead

Kara says she received her first contract the day before the recording and was both excited and nervous. That is the milestone shown in this update, before a completed flip.

She connects her interest in the business to her children’s future. The story is about taking a first step while balancing family life, with the next stages still to come.
